University of Washington Honduras missions
This long standing mission to Balfate, Honduras began in 2009 when Dr. Kaalan Johnson was a chief resident at Eastern Virginia Medical School. With the assistance of Dr. John Sinacori, the mission begin and since then it has thrived. With Dr. Sinacori at EVMS and Dr. Johnson at Seattle Children’s Hospital, the groups are able to provide head and neck surgical care every six months, providing not only a continued presence, a means for follow up, but great partnership for years to come.
